Been a bit crazy the last few weeks. My Guinness job deadline got pushed, and a quick Mc Donald’s job came through. We shot a couple spots for a new smoothie on Friday and its going to be due in about a week.
One of the Directors here at work also finished a new music video for Weezer. Its one of those concepts that you wish you thought of. It got over 1 million hits on You-Tube the first day! Congrats Matt.

I was just turned on to this site that lets you upload any song, cut it up, and make a ringtone for your phone, specifically a free ringtone for your iphone. You gotta check it out audiko.net . Props to my boy Winkel who hooked me up.
Here is one I just cut.

A series of spots that I co-directed launched this weekend. These spots kicked off a new campaign for John Hancock, a financial company. They are initially airing 3 spots, with a fourth and potential fifth spot to be finished and air later this year. It was a fun shoot with some great clients. The concept was simple, as was the design and execution.

I uploaded my pics from the london trip. Still need to write about the trip, but check out the pics for now — > London
I also put up an old album from my first trip to Japan. It was a senior class trip in 2003 —> Japan 03
Enjoy
Trip to London was awesome. Will put up pics shortly. The one shitty thing that I experienced on the trip was the joys of breaking in the brand new terminal at Heathrow airport. My flight was delayed both ways by several hours, and i was considered lucky to receive my bags. The one good thing that came out of it was checking out this art piece that was hanging over some escalators. It was made of all these little mechanical circles, and would create the most random patterns. Pretty cool stuff… check it out:
I made it to London! As I mentioned in an earlier post, Im working out in London to shoot a commercial for Guinness. Its actually a spot for Ireland and it is about a new form of a traditional sport, Hurling (more on that later), that they are sponsoring. I left on Friday, and will be out here until this coming Saturday.
Here are some quick snapshots from my first few days. Don’t let the pics fool you, I have been working too!

I just put up a work section that will feature links to the works that i have created and continue to create with Motion Theory. There are only a few up now, but i will be updating as soon as i can with more.
We did it again! My hockey team took home the championship for the second consecutive year. We came in 5th during the regular season, but through some great team play and solid goaltending we were able to come out on top, sweeping the championship series. I had 2 goals and 3 assists during the the 4 post season games.
Thanks for all the comments and email replies. I will get back to everyone as soon as i can. A little crazy at work. Im shooting a commercial for John Hancock this week, and then flying out at the end of the month to London for a little over a week to shoot another spot. I will try to keep the site updated with pics and stories from those adventures. Im also going to create a section that will have links to my work as well, so you can check out some of my latest projects.
